April 18, 2012

If you’re looking for a quick way to dress up your table for a special event or holiday, Just Add Ice Orchids offer the perfect solution. Available at local groceries, discount and home stores; you can pick up Just Add Ice Orchids while you’re doing your party shopping. No need to make an extra trip to the florist or spend time you don’t have shopping for an appropriate centerpiece. If you’re pinched for time, you can display Just Add Ice Orchids “as is” on your table. With large, beautiful blossoms on gracefully arching stems, Phalaenopsis orchids make a stunning stand-alone centerpiece; and Just Add Ice Orchids are sold in decorative pots so you can just pop them on the table and be done if you’re in a time bind!

If you’d like to create a more elaborate table display, Just Add ice Orchids can be used to create beautiful table decorations that take just moments to create.

For holidays, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, bridal or baby showers and other special events, try the following suggestions for dressing your table:

  • Tape a wide ribbon around the top of the orchid pot using double-sized tape to hold it in place. You can add a bow if you wish using another piece of tape. Use themed ribbons for holidays, birthdays and baby showers. For bridal showers, select orchid and ribbon colors in the wedding colors.
  • Place the orchid in a thematic ceramic container. Throughout the year, craft stores offer themed planter pots for seasonal holidays and events. Shop for Easter egg and graduation hat-shaped pots in the spring, jack-o-lanterns at Halloween, Santas at Christmas, etc. For best prices, shop the after-holiday sales and store for future use.
  • Turn any orchid pot into a themed decoration by sticking an appropriate floral or cake decorating pick into the pot (plastic ducks for a baby shower, a graduation cap for a grad party, etc.).
